Published on 4th November 2021

In Scotland 75% of suicides are by men. Men are less likely than women to talk about their mental health with family members or friends or access psychological therapies. This Men’s Health Awareness Month, learn how to talk about mental health with the Wellbeing College’s bitesize video: Conversations about mental health.

If you are struggling to cope or suspect that someone you know is considering suicide, contact Samaritans on 116 123 (24 hours) or Breathing Space on 0800 83 85 87 (lines open 24 hours at weekends and 6pm to 2am on weekdays).
