Two Chirnside sports clubs received a welcome cash boost recently when they received donations from Berwickshire Housing Association (BHA).
BHA housing assistant Nikki Robertson handed over a cheque for £350 to Leanne Ross of Chirnside Chasers. Leanne said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive this donation from
Berwickshire Housing Association. The money will be spent on equipment for our juniors.”
Nikki also presented a cheque for £250 to Chirnside Junior Football Club with the money being used to help coach local youngsters of all ages.
BHA made the grants from its Community Initiative Fund.
