Berwickshire Housing Association’s Tenant Volunteers recently handed over a cheque for £500 to Berwickshire Coastal Arts.
Berwickshire Coastal Arts is a project formed to develop and deliver new art projects. The donation from BHA’s Tenant Volunteers will help the group write and produce a new production all about living in a coastal community.
This is in the very early stages and Berwickshire Coastal Arts are looking to get people involved in capturing stories, writing stories, capturing images, films and thoughts of living in a contemporary and changing coastal community.
The project will benefit many people in the local community as it allows all those involved to learn new skills enabling a better understanding of different views and experiences.
