Lynn dances 24 hours in memory of her dad

Huge congratulations to Berwickshire Housing Association Board Member Lynn Gray who completed her 24 hour ‘Danceathon’ in aid of Pancreatic Cancer Action, a charity very close to her heart.

Lynn sadly lost her father Rob to pancreatic cancer in May last year and decided to proactive and raise fund for the charity.

She said: “He was a huge part of our lives and after our mum’s passing 17 years ago, we were all closer than ever.

“I decided that being proactive would not only help me but would help others so I came up with the Danceathon to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer Action.”

Pancreatic Cancer Action are a national charity dedicated to saving lives by improving early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and the quality of patient survival. The charity fund vital research, create medical education programmes, produce national awareness campaigns and vital patient information.

Lynn took to the dancefloor in Duns Volunteer4 Hall for 24 hours with friends and family, and some of the team at BHA, popping along to support her during the challenge.
