BHA wishes to appoint a single supplier to provide it with Internal Audit Services for the contract period. Suppliers are invited to submit detailed proposals for Internal Audit Services to assist BHA in critically reviewing its functions to ensure continuous improvement and to regularly assist the Board of Management to review the internal controls in place.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Suppliers are invited to submit detailed proposals for Internal Audit Services to assist BHA in critically reviewing its functions to ensure continuous improvement and to regularly assist the Board of Management to review the internal controls in place. The Internal Audit Services should ensure that:
A modern and risk focussed internal audit strategy and plan is in place, and all areas of risk are addressed within the aims and objectives of the work carried out;
Internal audit work is carried out to a professional standard by appropriately qualified personnel, including demonstrable knowledge of Registered Social Landlords, the Scottish Housing Regulator and their Regulatory Framework and Standards;
Sufficient resources are allocated to provide the Internal Audit Service to BHA; and
There is an effective follow-up procedure in place that ensures all audit recommendations have been implemented to ensure reliance can be placed on internal controls.
