Paying your Rent
There a number of different ways to pay your rent, so you can choose which suits your circumstances best.
- Cash, cheque or postal orders are accepted at our 3 local housing offices in Coldstream, Duns and Eyemouth.
- Standing orders or direct debits allow payments direct from your bank account to ours, and you can choose to make these payments weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly or monthly. For more information or to request a form for either of these payment methods, contact your local housing office.
- Allpay is increasing in popularity amongst our tenants. This system allows you to make rental payments to us in over 40,000 outlets nationwide, including the Post Office, and 24 hours a day by debit or credit card using the internet. For more information or to request an Allpay payment card, contact your local housing office.
Use Allpay to make a Payment Online
Once you have an Allpay card you can use it to pay your rent online. Simply go to the allpayments.net website and follow the online instructions. The Allpay site will not show the current balance on your rent account. To find out your current balance please contact your local housing office.
If, for any reason, you are having problems paying your rent then please contact your local housing office as soon as possible. An appointment will be arranged for you to meet with a Housing Officer so you can discuss in private and in strict confidence any debt related problems you maybe having.
The Association can also arrange for you to meet with other agencies that can also provide information and advice to assist with any financial issues.
